Much Ado About...Vices

After a breakfast flavored brushing and flossing session:
Or any other time of the day;I love nothing more, then
a nice iced coffee. being as we are not "Rockefeller's"
we can't afford to go to Starbucks everyday. so we make do at home.
So i make cold brew coffee at home. It is way better then
brewing a cup and then cooling it off which waters it down.

start with good coffee. I used half a pound per 2qts
COLD water. pour in container, cover, and let steep
eight hours or overnight. The next morning, strain off
grounds, and pour thru cheesecloth or, I use coffee
filters. then pour into a container. It'll keep in the refrigerator
for up to a month. altho, it won't last that long:).

I found a beverage dispenser with a spout at wallyworld
for $4. it's plastic though, not glass like I wanted.

Now for the best part: Drinking it! Put ice in a glass, add coffee:
it's a little strong, but you want it to be. 'cause you add cream, flavoring,
or just ice and milk. Go with whatever your favorite drink is.
We happen to be on a chocolate coconut mocha kick. Yummy!

since this is a post about vices, our other vice is Gallons and
 Gallons of ice tea
in summer. and hot tea in winter. and to make it easier to
obtain your fix, we (using the royal we) open the tea all at once.
I mean who wants to open all those tedious packets with shaking hands.

Much Ado About.....Alpaca Meat.

Hubby works for a guy who has an alpaca ranch. One
day while working one of the critters broke a leg. So they
had to put it down. Bill offered the guys a chunk of it.he said
if you like sheep, you'll like this.
So hubby, being the adventurous guy that he is,
brought home a piece. we cut it up, skewered it, and grilled
it up last night.
it looked good, smelled pretty good, but it was very,
well, the kids described it as "alpaca flavored chewing gum"
they thought it was great.

In the end, everyone but Rabbit tried some. we had four pieces left
we also grilled chicken thighs, just in case. add some oven fries,
with the Royer's cowboy seasoning and it was a hit.
except for Karis who thinks potatoes are "nasty".
it was a once in a lifetime experience.

hang in the window. My kids looked at it and said
"Nobody is going to know what that means!"
and laughed at me!But I have proofed it works..
this guy was merrily making his way down the street.
saying a cheery "hello" to Mcscott who was checking the mail.
all the sudden I hear "Ooh" and he walks away.
It works!!

much ado about...agreement spray

Are the people of your home not agreeing on what to have for dinner? well, now you can have an agreement at the push of a button, or you could make them make their bed by pressing a button. For the kids, it could make you, Mother and Father, to buy you a game for any game station. but the parents could make the kids give them all their money, or to buy them a new computer. But the side affects are: want to stay off game stations, want to do school, want to go outside and play. my spray is so affordable that a baby can buy this stuff for the low, low price of $4.00 for  box of 8. So BUY, BUY, BUY!!!!

Much Ado About...Random

Whats cuter then a box of Coco?
I found an extra big pie plate at Goodwill. The kids think
it  should be good for an extra slice of pie.

Much Ado About...Family Favorites

This picture has nothing to do with this post.
This is what I found in the fridge.an empty! egg carton.
That darn "I dunno"
\
On of our old time family favorites for dinner is:
                                                         Sandwich Fleisch. or mustard meat.
Brown 2 Lbs hamburger, pepper to taste.
add two eggs and cook till set.
                                             Add mustard. I didn't add enough;because I ran out!!
Mix well. serve with buns, fries, tater tots, chips or whatever.
I was going to have tater tots, but alas; no oven.): so we had chips:)
add pickles, hot sweet tea. and dinner is served.
