Much Ado about...How NOT to bake a pie crust.

It sounded like a great idea at the time. Banana pie.
I had all these bananas sitting just hoping to be put into pie.

Hopeful children armed and ready to eat said pie.

But the timer rings. alas nobody harkens to the tone.

(I have always wanted to say that)

This was the sad result of not harkening to the bell.

Even sadder were the faces of the children when they spied the spectacle.

"No pie today!"

But what to their wondering eyes should appear.

"saved." they cried"We are saved"

We can eat cookies from the Chinese New Year!

The moral of this tale. remember it well.

it is always wiser to harken the bell.
